I found another article below that talks about how fasting can provide a hostile environment for cancer cells and cause healthy cells to go into hibernation so that they reduce the effects of chemotherapy by absorbing less of it . When healthy cells go into hibernation, they also go into repair mode during which they repair any damage within the cells. At the end of the day, you are a winner when more cancer cells die than the healthy cells which are being repaired even whilst they absorb less chemotherapy while in a hibernation stage.
